Thônes is at the crossroads located between Annecy and the ski area of Aravis which is made up of the resorts of La Clusaz, Grand-Bornand, St Jean de Sixt, and Manigod. In total you will have access to more than 220 kilometres of slopes and 98 ski lifts. To make the most of these four resorts, be sure to purchase the “ski Pass Aravis” then you will be free to explore everywhere! Cross-country skiing is to the fore here with no less than 150 kilometres of tracks envisaged for this purpose.

This means, in Thônes, skiing is at your doorstep but with the added benefit of the advantages of being in a town. Important note: Thônes is the capital of the reblochon cheese, a true treat for your taste buds after the days’ efforts!
