Peisey-Vallandry is an alpine resort divided into 5 savoyard villages situated on the sunny side of the valley : Landry, Peisey, Nancroix, Vallandry and Plan-Peisey.
With more 200 kilometers of ski slopes, Peisey-Vallandry is an ideal spot of holiday! It is a ski area open to skiers of all levels, everybody can have fun, beginners in the beginners's area like advanced skiers in the red or black slopes! Peisey-Vallandry is also a paradise for skiing through the trees because we have a big forest!
But in Peisey-Vallandry we don't only ski! We also propose many activities to discover the mountain differently! The nordic site is particularly adapted to practice activities in a quiet environment : horse drawn sleigh, dog sledding, climbing frozen waterfall, nordic skiing, biathlon, snowshoeing, walking in the snow...
Peisey-Vallandry is different from others ski resorts, it is a resort with traditional villages where inhabitants live all year long. There is a real "village atmosphere". Guided visits of Peisey village by torchlight are organised, you can explore the narrow lanes, the baroque church and taste local specialities. It is a good opportunity to discover the authentic charm of a moutain village!
